Sleep the Sleep of Silence is a cinematic meditation on erasure, displacement, and the body as a site of historical inscription.
Commissioned by the CCCB – Centre de Cultura
Contemporània de Barcelona, the film draws on the poetic and political legacy of Federico
García Lorca, specifically his poem La Gacela de la Muerte Oscura (Gacela of the Dark Death),
written shortly before his assassination in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War. The film is formally inspired by Mudanza (2008) by Pere Portabella—a work that stages
absence through space, gesture, and architectural memory.
All That Changes You. Metamorphosis takes as its starting point Renaissance architect Guilio Romano's masterpiece, Palazzo Te and uses the lavish palace and frescoed walls to explore and reconsider themes of metamorphosis, philosophy, anthropology and ecology within the framework of the contemporary world. It premiered as a ten screen installation at Palazo Te Mantua and has recently showed at Galery Borghese, Rome
Half Flight : a video istallation that weaves aviation history and cartography across culture and time and time Combining ancient Mesopotamian iconography with motifs from historic maps and aerial surveys of the Australian landscape, Half Flight traces the transformation of winged deities into aircraft and benevolent angels into airborne weapons of mass destruction. It was commissioned as one of the five major exhibitions opening at Powerhouse Parramatt in November 2026
